Bửu Long, HCM City’s unique pagoda

Built in 1942 on a hill near the Đồng Nai River, the pagoda was restored in 2007 with a mixture of architectural styles from India and Southeast Asian countries such as Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, and Việt Nam.

Thanks to the trees surrounding the pagoda, visitors feel pleasant as soon as they enter the road leading to the pagoda. Inside the pagoda is a canteen serving vegetarian food.

There are several routes to Bửu Long Pagoda. One of them is through the Sài Gòn River Tunnel to Mai Chí Thọ Boulevard before turning right into Nguyễn Thi Định Street and then left into Nguyễn Duy Trinh Street.
